Who we are
This website is run by THERESIDENTBOOKKEEPER LTD (RC 9906291), No. 1 Solomon Lar Way, Jabi, Abuja, Nigeria. We decide how the information described here is used.

What we collect
- Details you give us. When you complete the Free Books Health Check or start a WhatsApp conversation from this site, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, country and your answers about your books.
- Messages. If you contact us by WhatsApp or email, we keep the conversation.
- Analytics, only if you accept. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records which pages you visit, roughly where you are and what kind of device you use.
- Technical records. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure.
We do not ask for bank details, passwords or financial records through this website.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, assess what your books need and prepare a quote.
- To follow up on an enquiry you started.
- To understand which pages are useful, if you accepted analytics.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We rely on your request for a reply or a quote, our legitimate interest in running and improving our service, and your consent for analytics cookies. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
Who helps us process it
We use trusted providers to run the service. They act on our instructions.
- Supabase stores enquiry records in our database.
- Netlify hosts this website.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries messages you send us there.
- Google provides analytics, if you accept, and the typeface this site loads.
- Pexels serves some of the photographs on this site.
- Anthropic provides AI tools that help us organise enquiries and prepare replies.
These providers may store information outside your country, including outside Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
Cookies
This site sets no analytics cookies unless you accept them. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies beginning _ga. Your choice is remembered in your browser so we do not ask on every visit.
You can change your mind at any time: .
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you become a client, your records are kept under the terms of your engagement letter.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you have given. Email us and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or, if you are in the United Kingdom, to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
